October 4th, 2009, we attended the most delightful funeral – baptisms of six of our congregation.
Christina Daniel, 8 years old and Jake Hudecek, both clearly understood what the meanings of salvation and baptism were. Young man Jonathan Verdin thought that it is the time to declare that he wants to live his life that would bring glory to his Savior Jesus. Sabrina and Ben Pena want their lives to reflect their Master Jesus to others and walk with Him. Artie Johanson is so excited to be baptized and dedicated his life to the Lord. For the rest of us, we cheered as each one got baptized and enjoyed the fellowship and food, of course, and gave thanks to the Lord, for His mercy endures forever. |
